Project Warming

Fume now helps keep your SSR projects warm, avoiding cold starts.

What is this?

SSR Projects (AWS Lambda) are kept warm for a limited amount of time after executing, before being spun down so that the container is ready for any new function to be invoked. Cold starts sometimes require 5 seconds to invoke.

How do I turn this on?

Under your project page you will see a new menu option Warmer

Project Warming

  • Environments must have an active deployment with a public-facing URL
  • Fume will perform a GET on the root index
  • Each periodic request to your project will affect pricing
